Langdale Cottage - Chapel Stile Lake District holiday home 

Interior views of our modern, stylish holiday home in Chapel Stile, near Ambleside, Cumbria.

Langdale Cottage has been thoroughly modernised and updated over the last few years to provide modern and stylish holiday accommodation for up  two adults (one double bedroom) and  two children in (2 single kids beds).

The comfortable lounge  offers views over to Lingmoor Fell and if you fill the feeders right outside the window wild birds will flock to them and the surrounding bushes. We spend more time watching the birds and the little bank vole than the TV! Talking of which, there is a 28" Smart TV with Netflix, a sound bar that you can connect to for music and large leather sofa to relax on after a hard days hiking. As well as central heating there is a portable electric radiator and an electric coal effect fire to keep you warm. There is also good Wifi throughout the cottage.

The fully-fitted kitchen is modern with fridge-freezer, microwave, electric hob and dishwasher, with good selection of utensils and pans, and Le Creuset teapot and cafetiere.

The bathroom has a walk-in shower and a self-demisting mirror (with bluetooth so you can connect your phone and sing along to your favourite tracks!)

 The bedrooms are fully carpeted, upstairs with locally-sourced Herdwick wool, and both have storage cupboards. Most suitcases will fit under the beds for storage. The upstairs loft conversion is compact and only suitable for children due to its height and space.

Outside there are communal gardens with views down the valley to the magnificent Langdale Pikes.
